Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is a relatively frequent cause of serious respiratory illness in older adults and those with pre-existing medical conditions.[1,2] The burden of RSV in adults is estimated to account for 60-180,000 hospitalizations and 10,000-14,000 deaths in adults in the United States per year.
